TOWN OF SANFORD – The 29th Annual Blueberry Jam Music Festival kicks off tomorrow, bringing together two dozen local musical artists right up to the Pennsylvania Border for a weekend of celebration, music, fruit, and more.
Organizers bill the festival as "two days of blueberries and live, original music from some of New York's Southern Tier, Central, Western & Northeast PA Regions' best acts."
The event will feature familiar names in the Greater Binghamton rock scene like Caviar & Grits, Tom Jolu, Yolk, Honker, Kid Bess & the Magic Ring, The Get Together, and more.
"Year 29 is sure to be the biggest and best Blueberry Jam yet," organizers said in the announcement.
"Don’t miss out on this special celebration of original, regional music and wild native fruit."
On Saturday, bluegrass aficionados Dirty Blanket headline.
Famed local folk band Driftwood will finish out the weekend on Sunday.

Festivities kick off at 9:30 a.m. Saturday and 10 am Sunday at RedBarn at Danville Springs, 18 Kelsey Road in Sanford, about half an hour outside of the City of Binghamton near Deposit.
Tickets can be purchased in advance here, or in-person at the event. The cost of a day pass is $50 and a weekend pass is $100, with additional fees if purchased online.
Bittersweet Farm's Beer Bus will be on site, with other alcohol BYOB.
