🏗️Binghamton Plaza Possibilities Revealed
The City of Binghamton held its first public session on the potential future of the now city-owned and to-be-demolished Binghamton Plaza Site (New York Pizzeria is going to be fine don't worry) (WBNG).
Residents gathered at the soon-to-be redeveloped Theodore Roosevelt Elementary to see renderings and street plans of potential redevelopments, most with an emphasis on making the riverfront a destination, and providing mixed-use storefronts and much-needed residences (Press & Sun).
🍝Little Italy to get Streetscape Project
$500,000 in federal funding is headed to Little Italy in Endicott this fall following an effort by Rep. Josh Riley, an Endicott native. The renovations will focus on revamping streets and sidewalks in the heritage neighborhood (NC34).
