👷Binghamton to Get $10.8 Million Infrastructure Upgrades

$10.8 million in water, sewer, and stormwater upgrades, repaving of 40 streets and curbing and sidewalk upgrades are coming to the City of Binghamton (Fox40) on top of the Main Street Improvement and Paving Project expected to finish this year and the Clinton Street Downtown Revitalization Initiative.

The city will utilize Road AI pavement rating technology to help develop its priorities (WBNG)

🤖Endicott Weighs Data Center Moritorium

The Village of Endicott is considering a 12 month pause on new AI data centers due to their possible polluting impact and energy usage, wanting to avoid any further pollution concerns in an area where many have existed over the years (WBNG).

An established data center already exists on the Huron Campus in Endicott, recently upgraded with a natural gas fuel cell system (WNBF).

Binghamton High School Valedictorian Samantha Dalmolen told last Sunday's commencement crowd what it means to be a 'Binghamton Kid' in a speech worth listening to, regardless from where in Broome County you grew up.
