🏈Football Finishers
After a valiant effort, Chenango Forks falls 42-25 to Bronxville in the Class C State Football Championship (WBNG) while nearby Tioga wins its 5th Class D state title at the dome! (Press & Sun)
This is the first time since 2013 that four local football teams advanced to state semifinals (Fox40), with Owego's historic Class B run ending in the semifinals (Fox40) and U-E finishing their run just short of Class A state finals (Press & Sun)
🏠Sen. Webb Facing Foreclosure, Cites Family Medical Crisis
New York State Senator Lea Webb is facing foreclosure on her Johnson City home, which was shown to local media by Broome County Republican Chairman Benji Federman (NC34).
Webb said her family has faced significant challenges recently sue to an emotionally and financially difficult medical issue and she is working to resolve the matter. As a New York State legislator, Webb receives $142,000 per year, plus per diems.
