🪪🇺🇸 Trump Administration Cancels, Binghamton Oath of Citizen Ceremony

Dozens of local residents and more throughout the state preparing to become U.S. Citizens were put in limbo after Trump Administration officials cancelled a naturalization ceremony at the American Civic Association, claiming that "certain New York county courts" do not meet statutory requirements (NC34)

Local officials were left concerned and upset (Fox40) with Mayor Kraham called for it to be rescheduled (Press & Sun)

🚓⛺Homeless Encampment Cleared in Binghamton

An encampment along the Susquehanna River was dispersed near the Exchange Street Bridge Wednesday (WNBF) with those there unsure what to do next.

Mayor Kraham said officials worked to connect those living there with temporary housing and resources, and that its presence creates a public health issue, while others voiced concerns about the action (WBNG)
