🛫Airport woes as Delta pulls out after renovation
Less than a year after the $54 million renovation project of the Greater Binghamton Airport (CNYBJ) for terminal upgrades and other improvements (NC34), Delta airlines, the airport's only commercial airliner, is ending its service in February (WBNG).
The airport renovation project was given a $32 million state grant and was one of nine Upstate airports that received funding from the Upstate Airport Economic Development and Revitalization Competition.
The airport also services other aviation companies beyond just the public commercial Delta flights.
