🗳️Donna Lupardo will not seek reelection
After 11 terms and over 22 years in the New York State Assembly, Donna Lupardo announced that she will not be running for reelection in November (NC34)
Several Democrats have already announced their intentions to run for the 123rd District, which includes the City of Binghamton and Towns of Vestal and Union, such as attorney and nonprofit leader Dan Norton, former County Clerk candidate Nick Libous and former Binghamton City Councilmember Dan Livingston (NC34)
✈️Delta Recommits to Binghamton after Pressure
After Delta announced services would cease in February for the Greater Binghamton Airport's only commercial passenger airline service, the airline reversed course.
This is after Governor Kathy Hochul and Sen. Chuck Schumer say they applied pressure to preserve the airline at the airport, which recently received a state-backed $54 million renovation (NC34).
