Binghamton Area Events Week of 9/8/25 - Haudenosaunee Fest, Blues on the Bridge & more!
Celebrate indigenous culture at the Haudenosaunee festival, then rock it up at Blues on the Bridge. While you're at it: volunteer for United Way, find some other jams, and help Know Theatre kick off its season!

Binghamtonian is a reader-supported, writer-owned publication aimed at connecting residents of the Greater Binghamton Area with their community.
Weekly events newsletters are free via email and online, with paid supporters receiving a weekly local news round-up and the variety column as a bonus for their support!
This list probably isn't everything - and if any events pop up the web version will be updated throughout the week!
Are we missing something? Please let me know at info@binghamtonian.news.
🌅As the summer winds down a bit, that just means the events seasons for things like Binghamton University, the Binghamton Philharmonic, Know Theatre, and more are getting kicked off!
⚾Be sure to check out the Rumble Ponies' series this week - it's their last home games of the regular season!
Honestly since starting this newsletter I've realized it's not only hard to keep track of all that's going on - but far more difficult to get a taste of all the different organizations, sounds, events, etc. given how much this city can fit into a weekend!
I'm excited to help make the discovery part at least a bit easier for you 😄
🔆What was your favorite LUMA presentation? They all felt super varied this year. Instinct (the one with the wolves) was probably mine. Feel free to email about it!
Check out the most recent news roundup for a time-saving way to catch up on all that's gone on in the last week, and good luck to all those entering this new school year!

This week's recommendation:
🍸Cooperative Gallery 213's fantastic exhibit on "Herizon" was the highlight of First Friday to me. A wonderful historical dive into was in the location's former lesbian and women-centered social space's would-be 50th anniversary.
I'd talk about it more here, but you should really check it out yourself if you get the chance! The gallery is open Fridays and Saturdays.
While there, check out the trippy exhibition at the Antony Brunelli gallery FUGUE if it's open - another big highlight for me.
Let me know how I can improve this newsletter!
