A varied slate of events this week with touring acts like comedian Nurse Blake and ZZ Top, along with nature excisions, art events, and theatre at Know, Cider Mill, and other stages throughout the region

Looks like all the local theaters are back in full gear with the Arena, Forum Theatre, Know Theatre, Cider Mill Stage, and Firehouse Stage all having events this week. S.R.O.'s fundraiser looks like a great excuse to get out to the Town of Maine and snag a nice meal at Frank's also!
Personally, the Philharmonic's return is something I've been looking forward to for a while. Beethoven's 7th is one of those that has always escaped me, so I'll love being able to hear it!
A lot of hiking and nature events this week - definitely take advantage as the leaves start turning and the weather still keeps some warmth!

This week's recommendation:
If you grew up near Endicott like I did, you've probably been to Consol's more times than you can count.
That's why I'm happy to report that the building's new occupant - Concordia - does right by the legacy. A few weeks ago I went, and while it was popular enough that we had to sit at the bar, it was totally fine with me and my partner given the food we received. Loved seeing the little honoring of the Consol's legacy in the menu as well. Felt like a respectful continuation rather than something completely new.
Worth checking out if you're doing the arts trail and are over in Endicott!
