Hello all! Hope that Labor Day weekend treated you well. And welcome to the new subscribers here!

While last week's festival blitz has slowed down a little, it's time for the big one - LUMA! If you haven't been to this unique projection arts festival, you'll be in for a big treat.

Be sure to go out before nighttime sets in though - as we also have First Friday and India Day to sink your teeth into, along with a swath of other events to check out!

Also, check out the most recent news roundup for a time-saving way to catch up on all that's gone on in the last week, and good luck to all those entering this new school year!

This week's recommendation:

Hit first Friday first starting around 6 or 7 pm, stroll down State Street and take in the music and art galleries. Hell, try a few arcade games at Crowbar while you're at it.

Find a place to get a bite, sit down and relax, and wait for the sun to go down - then take in the light show.

It's LUMA weekend, baby.

Let me know how I can improve this newsletter!
