✅This week's recommendation:

🍕With holidays come gatherings, and with gatherings often come pizza.

Now, this area famously has no shortage of pizza options (dare I say, you can have a distinctly different and quite good slice of pie every day for more than two weeks straight here), but my go-to will always be Brozzetti's.

The sweet, unique pizza is for Johnson City natives often a family favorite and emblem of the Southern Tier sheet style, and at the same time, the only pizza in the world I've had like it.

My favorite pizza, even when comparing to those I've had in New York, Italy or Chicago, is the white pizza with bacon or the classic sheet with sausage on top - but is it really fair to me when the smells were wafting into Wilson Hospital where I was born?

Anyhow, as the tune goes, call Brozzetti's for pizza to go
