🎄❄️Merry Christmas - and if you don't celebrate, happy winter break!

Definitely a lighter list this week, but still plenty to do, be it local music, finding a new favorite local restaurant, or a holiday lights display. Plenty of unique religious services across the area's churches as well.

✅This week's recommendation:

When you're panicking trying to get everything together for your Christmas dinner, wrapping gifts, wracking your brain as to what even a white elephant is and if you should get something genuine or a joke and just can't find the time to cook for yourself - you might want to order take out at some point.

🥙My pick for that? Halal Bites at 652 Riverside Dr. in Johnson City never does me wrong as an option close to home. No frills, easy pick up or dine in, and spice if you want it. Perhaps a chicken rice shawarma or gyro can offer a brief reprieve from the rich holiday food staples.
