Happy New Year everyone! Plenty of stuff to do this week, especially if you're looking to get into a new hobby or want to have an active start to 2026.
Exciting to see Rachel Balkovec hold a talk here for all you baseball heads - especially given that Jen Pawol, the first female MLB umpire, was a teacher at Maine-Endwell, and Rachel Folden, the Rumble Ponies' hitting coach, is the first female coach in their organization.

🏂This weekend, I kicked off my snowboarding season up at Greek Peak - and it looks like going back will be a pretty easy sell.
The resort is starting its two weekly lift ticket specials starting this week. On Mondays, Red Jug Pub is sponsoring their college night - offering $26 night lift tickets and 1/2 price wings. On Tuesdays, you can snag a $48 lift ticket for the whole day.
Not too bad considering the typical day long lift tickets are $120!
