Sorry for the delay on this one! But hey, it was my birthday so at least it isn't the worst excuse, I suppose.

A great week for hockey fans, be it Pond Fest or the Black Bears. Plus, your typical spread of live music and comedy, hobby events and more to dig your teeth into!

✅This week's recommendation:

🐦‍⬛📊🎮The Crowbar Arcade has been a wonderful addition to downtown. Great classic arcade games with an easy-to-use card system, unique twists on bar food, good drink variety and cocktails and a great gritty aesthetic. What's not to love?

Plus, they've grown into a great space for local events, including becoming a new home for the local underground music scene.

I'll be there Tuesday night for the Melee event if anyone wants to say hi!

"Join us for our annual pond hockey tournament, live music, kids activities, carnival games, food & drinks, adult beverages, fireworks, and just a generally fun time and awesome weekend for anyone! January 16-18 is our first weekend, where we host a 3v3 Adult Tournament where teams are guaranteed 4 games and playoffs if they make it that far. This event is about offering adult players the unique experience of playing outdoor hockey and incorporating additional activities and entertainment with that hockey experience to make for a fun and memorable weekend for players, kids, families, and spectators."

🏃Sat. 1/17 Pond Fest Winter Trail Runs
The Binghamton Pond Festival is back, and that means so is the BPF Trail and Snowshoe Race is being renamed to Pond Fest Winter Trail Runs and Snowshoe Race!  What exactly does this mean?  We're kicking it up a notch with not just longer races, but more options!  Pond fest will be going on during your run, so you can expect a lot of fanfare and spectators as well as food trucks, etc, when you loop past the start/finish.
